A cozy attic apartment for 4 people in a quiet residential part of the South Bohemian town of Nové Hrady, on the edge of the Novohradské hory and just 1.5 km from the Austrian border. The apartment has its own entrance and parking right at the property.

There is a spacious garden with seating, a fire pit with a grill and a swing for children and adults alike. The property is non-smoking and pet-free.

Within walking distance (about 400 m) you'll find a microbrewery, a restaurant and a shop; the square with the castle is about 1 km away. The Novohradské hory offer peaceful countryside on the border with Austria, ideal for hiking and cycling.

Cottage for Rent Buková — Holiday in Novohradské hory

We offer for rent a cottage in the heart of the Novohradské hory mountains – in the small village of Buková near Nové Hrady. It is a new build completed in 2020, sensitively set within 3.000 m 2 of ornamental garden – the „Zahrady v rokli“ (Garden in the Ravine). The cottage is laid out as a 3+kk (two bedrooms plus a living room with kitchenette) and sleeps four people. The living room (30m 2 ), connected to the kitchen, is dominated by a modern fireplace, a lounge suite and a TV. A full-height picture window offers a magnificent view of the Novohradské hory mountains and opens onto a generous terrace with seating and steps down to the garden. The kitchen is fully fitted with appliances. There are 2 bedrooms, one with two separate beds and the other with a double bed. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

The bathroom offers a shower enclosure, a washbasin with storage space, a toilet and a wall-mounted cabinet. Heating is provided by a heated towel rail. In the lower part of the garden there is a natural swimming pond surrounded by mature trees, along with a pergola with seating and a view over the pond. In the upper part of the garden there is a small pond with a waterfall, which can be admired from the terrace. An outdoor solar shower in the garden is on hand for a quick cool down. Under the pergola you can sit by the gas barbecue. The garden also includes an outdoor fire pit. The entire plot is fenced.

Parking is provided on the property's own grounds. A Wi-fi connection is also available. Given the character of the ornamental garden with its swimming pond and water feature, the owner asks that families with children come only with children aged at least 15. Pets are not allowed. The cottage is non-smoking. The plot directly adjoins the „Pamětí Slepičích hor“ cycle route, and the cottage therefore also offers bicycle storage in the basement.
