Týn nad Vltavou is a town in the district of České Budějovice in the Southbohemian region, 28 km northern from České Budějovice on the Vltava river (Cottages and chalets Týn nad Vltavou). From the tourist point of view, a remarkable point is the square with the St. Jacob´s church, the house of the townhall and chateau where there is a museum nowadays. You can view a collection of special gems coming from the Vltava river („vltavíns“).
