The location is very popular for cycling, fishing, hiking, boating and swimming. In the village of Lipno nad Vltavou (14 km) is located bobsled trail and trees tower. You can also visit the historic city of Czech Krumlov (UNESCO, 31 km).

The town and its immediate surroundings on the bank of the lake offer many recreational activities: swimming, fishing, surfing, kiteboarding, rentals of bikes, boats and pedals and last but not least a nice rear for families with kids.
