Cottage with Fireplace for Rent — Albrechtice — Holiday in South Bohemia

This pleasant cottage is situated in the village of Albrechtice in the Vltavotýnsko region, in the heart of South Bohemia. The property stands as the last house at the edge of the village on the road towards Protivín and Písek, offering complete peace and proximity to nature while remaining conveniently accessible to surrounding towns. Albrechtice is a quiet and picturesque corner of South Bohemia — a perfect place to truly escape the everyday rush.

The cottage is simply yet comfortably furnished. The living room with a fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere that is an essential part of any proper countryside holiday. Guests have access to seating in an enclosed garden, where they can enjoy summer evenings in complete privacy. A forest begins just approximately 150 metres from the property, connecting to the Písecké hory hills and offering excellent opportunities for hiking and nature walks. Please note that the owner occasionally uses the other half of the house for personal recreation.

The surroundings are packed with day-trip possibilities. The Velký and Malý Kamýk nature reserves are just 4 km away and offer unforgettable experiences in unspoilt nature. Swimming and fishing are available right in the village at the local pond (300 m) or on the nearby Vltava River (3 km). History enthusiasts will love the town of Písek with its castle and the oldest stone bridge in Bohemia (14 km), the romantic Hluboká nad Vltavou château (28 km), or the Bechyně château (24 km).

CH-337 — Cottage in the Česká Kanada Area, Oldřiš - Jindřichův Hradec

This pleasant cottage is situated in a peaceful spot by the forest near the village of Oldřiš, just 9 km from the historic town of Jindřichův Hradec, in the picturesque Česká Kanada region. The sloping plot of approximately 800 m? features a fireplace seating area and a small cellar for enjoyable outdoor moments. The meadow in front of the cottage, which also belongs to the owner, can be freely used as a playing field for ball games and other recreational activities. In case of unfavorable weather, you will appreciate the covered veranda, where you can sit comfortably regardless of the conditions outside.

The surroundings of the cottage are perfect for an active holiday. A popular hiking trail between Jindřichův Hradec and Landštejn passes nearby, along with a number of marked cycling routes, including the popular Jindřichův Hradec – Telč trail. Close by, you will find historic landmarks such as the castle and chateau in Jindřichův Hradec with its mill, the romantic ruin of Vítkův Hrádek with a lookout tower, and the Zoopark Na Hrádečku in Horní Pěna. Just 300 m from the property, there is also an opportunity to fish in the Hamerský stream, which lies in a trout zone — a national fishing permit is required.

On the grounds, there is also an additional small cottage (see photo 14), equipped with a kitchenette, a sofa bed, and a wardrobe — ideal as extra accommodation for a larger group. This annexe does not have a bathroom or WC. The cottage in the Česká Kanada area is an excellent choice for those seeking a peaceful nature holiday with plenty of excursion opportunities, sports activities, and direct contact with the beautiful South Bohemian landscape.

CH-388 — Villa with Pool for Friends and Families, Putim - Písek

Dreaming of a holiday where the comfort of modern living meets the beauty of South Bohemian nature? Holiday villa CH-388 is part of a pair of luxury villas (CH-387 and CH-388), completed in 2010 and set on a spacious plot directly on the bank of the Blanice river, on the edge of the picturesque village of Putim, just 5 km south of Písek. This location is ideal both for active travellers who want to explore the best of South Bohemia and for families seeking a relaxing retreat in one spot for the entire stay.

The villa features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area connected to the living room, from which you step out onto a south-west-facing terrace — the perfect spot to unwind in the afternoon sun. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms ensure that even larger families have plenty of privacy. Each villa has a plot of 800 m2, with a covered terrace of 30 m2 offering pleasant outdoor seating in any weather. The built-up area of each villa is 100 m2. Both villas share a garden swimming pool measuring 7.3 x 3.7 m — refreshment for the whole family is guaranteed. The youngest guests will love the sandpit, swing and trampoline. The owner can also arrange bicycle and boat rentals, so the adventure begins right at your doorstep.
