The cottage comes with a fenced garden with a pond, garden furniture, a barbecue grill, a pergola with a fireplace and seating, and for children a sandpit and a swing — everything for pleasant moments outdoors. Cycling and cross-country ski trails with groomed tracks towards Borová Lada, Kvilda, and Modrava run directly below the property, so there is no need to travel anywhere. For downhill skiing, head to Nové Hutě (5 km) or Zadov (15 km). A bus stop is located close to the cottage.

The surrounding area offers numerous appealing excursions: the educational trail to the Chalupská slať lake starts right next to the cottage, passionate mushroom pickers will be in their element in the Šumava forests, and swimming and fishing are available at Krmata lake just 4 km away (licensed fishing area).
