An additional fishing opportunity is available at the Nový pond, 5 km away, where permits can be purchased Monday to Friday at the fish farm in Chvalšiny. The owner has recently added an infrared sauna for 2 persons for guests: one hour of sauna use is included free of charge with a weekly stay, with each additional hour charged at 400 CZK. One extra bed is available upon agreement with the agency — this must be indicated at the time of booking.
The cultural and recreational opportunities in the surrounding area are exceptional: Český Krumlov hosts the famous Five-Petalled Rose Festival every June, the Lipno reservoir is approximately 15 minutes away by car, and the Zlatá Koruna monastery is also nearby. Horse riding is available directly in the village, including lessons for beginners.
